Don't you love going to the salon and getting your nails done? There's something about it that is so refreshing. It's not always possible to spend the time and money in the salon, but sometimes, doing your nails yourself can be challenging; especially if you are a lover of the french tip look. How do the professionals get such perfect lines?! Well, I have the answer... or at least the life hack answer. I learned this from one of my instructors while I was studying Master Aesthetics, and it is one of the best tips (pun intended) I've learned. And now yes, I am going to pass on the secret to you, my lovely readers, so that you too can have the perfect french tip and keep up with the

spring nail trends

.

You will first need to stock up on some fabulous

nail color

, and

Walgreens

is just the place to do that. They have a huge assortment of the most beautiful nail shades for Spring. You can shop brands like Essie and Revlon in-store or online. (I truly was impressed with their selection. I will be making them my new nail polish go-to.) Then you will need a small glass or metal cup (the smaller the better so you don't waste product), polish remover or acetone (poured into the cup), and a nail paint brush.

My niece was my model for this demonstration. I figured since I had just given her a manicure her nails wouldn't need as much work... I was wrong. Silly girl is busy being a kid and that means messy nails and cuticles... And I didn't have the time to sit and give her a full manicure, so you get to enjoy her cuticles and hang nails.

First you will paint along the tips of the nails. No worries if it's messy and no need to take the time to make it perfect. Just make sure the polish has a good layer.

Next, take your brush and dip it into the polish remover/ acetone. Simply sweep the brush along the inside of the polish to make that perfectly clean line. Use the brush to clean up and polish that has gotten onto the skin. Repeat the process twice for two coats.

Apply a base and top coat; and you're done!

I told you it was easy!

Be sure to head to Walgreens and pick up some new nail polish to try out this look. I would love to hear how it works out for you! #CollectiveBias #WalgreensBeauty
