As our day and our trip to Moab, Utah ended, we moved westward towards the sunset. We spent the last few hours of daylight at the edge of cliffs - soaking up the beauty that surrounded us. From the glistening river to the russet rocks; there just isn't much that compares to this kind of a view.

At the last minute we decided to chase the sun towards Canyonlands National Park and watch it set from a canyon overlook. It turned out to be a great decision, as the park was quiet and still. Snow still covered part of the ground, which contrasted with the clay beautifully. Once the sun had set, we climbed back into my car and headed for home.
