After the hot Summer weather in Venice it was time to head north, into the cool mountains of Switzerland! We spent our first day taking the scenic route to avoid traffic, winding up and down those breathtaking Swiss Alps.

Our first stop was in Lucern, a beautiful town in the middle of the Alps. We toured a watch shop and then had free time in which my friends and I hunted down a local gelato shop because well, it was a daily tradition. After our free time was over, it was back on the bus so we could head to our destination for the next two nights, Lauterbrunnen - a stunning yet quiet mountain town surrounded by towering peaks, including the Jungfrau which is one of the tallest in Switzerland, and waterfalls!
