Free as a Bird with Freebird

This post is sponsored by Freebird by Steven, but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Over the past few years, I’ve spent a good amount of my time traveling; from “staycations” to cross-country road trips to flying across the world. It truly has been an amazing experience, which I feel so lucky to have had, and I’m itching to see and do more. However—this year I have grounded myself… For me, 2019 is a time to find that freedom in other ways. While this means no (or less) travel, it also means peace and quiet, it means routine, it means being able to chase after my dreams in other ways, to allow myself to travel again, in the future. While some days it’s all I can do to not book a ticket; most days it feels amazing. There’s a freedom in having a place to stay “home”.

This time of year, Utah (my home) is kind of in between seasons. Which means brown earth and leafless trees. But I feel like the landscape suited this outfit, and these boots from Freebird, perfectly! There’s something about that rugged scenery, and these killer boots, that I just can’t get enough of. It may not be some foreign land, but it's home, and I love it.

Also, let's just talk about these Freebird boots, for a minute. These boots put all my other boots to shame. The quality is beautiful, they're incredibly comfortable, but best of all—they're one of a kind! Each Freebird piece is individually handcrafted, meaning that no two pieces are the same. They're all about infusing the present with the past and updating the classics with contemporary design. They believe that this is what keeps moments alive and creates something truly genuine.

I've wanted to own a pair of Freebird boots for many years, so adding these to my collection was really exciting! I'm definitely ready to take them on some (local) adventures.
