Jumpsuit Fashion Tips For Petites

As a petite, jumpsuits aren’t always my friend. Dressing for a small frame requires following some specific rules, and not all jumpsuits meet them! This jumpsuit has been one of my favorites for a few years, and it works on my petite frame for a few different reasons.

  • The print, while spaced out, isn’t large or overwhelming. The lines are thin and don’t distract the eye, too much!

  • The legs are cropped, which for a petite is a must.

  • The boots are the same color as the jumpsuit, which continues the line all the way to the ground.

  • The straps are spaghetti, which balances out the wider silhouette.

  • I paired it with a more form fitting shirt which also balances out the silhouette.

  • The v-neck creates a longer line from the top of the head to the top of the jumpsuit.

Of course, there are multiple ways you could wear this or any jumpsuit, but for me, this has been a favorite item for years! Not every jumpsuit is created equally, so as a petite it’s important to create the longest line possible, without being too overwhelming.
