Fall Wardrobe Transition

While it is officially Fall according to the calendar, the weather hasn't quite caught up yet. Most days here have still been in the 80°s, but the nights have started to cool a little. During this time of year it can be hard to know how to dress- do I wear a jacket? Is a sweater too much? Will my feet be too hot in boots? etc. I like to mix up the seasons a little, within my wardrobe, so I can be prepared for any weather.

This dress has been a go-to for me, all Summer. It's just a cotton t-shirt dress that is easy to throw on and go. By pairing it with some loafers and this beautiful lightweight

red coat

I bought from Ann Taylor, it transitions into Fall, perfectly. I can wear the dress during the day and throw the coat on when the temperature starts to drop. The red lipstick adds just the right amount of pop in my makeup to complete the look.

And because I love you...

This outfit has me feeling ready to go wander through an apple orchard and pick up some fall produce! How do you best utilize your wardrobe during the transition of seasons?
