Antiques have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve long been someone who strived to shop secondhand, especially in my home decor, and a year and a half ago, I made it my job.
The time has finally come to share part one of our living room makeover! We are currently renting, so this is a decor-only makeover.
As Spring arrived, we began planning our perfect patio garden with a DIY raised garden bed. Aside from the soil and seeds, I really wanted to keep the design cost under $200, which we were able to do, easily! Here’s everything you’ll need to do the same.
One of the first areas in our rented townhome to feel finished is the entryway. While for many months it sat pretty empty, I knew I wanted it to have a special antique piece of furniture.
As much as I would love to wear large florals or stripes, they more often than not, overwhelm my short frame. However, all is not lost for those of us on the short side, and patterns and pattern-mixing can be done!
A year ago, almost to the day, Steve visited my family’s cabin for the first time. Of course we had no idea we’d be back a year later, taking our bridal photos. But there we found ourselves, back again, and only a few days away from starting the rest of our lives, together.
